Remembrance Sunday 2020
8 November
On 11 November 1918, the First World War formally came to an end. Ever since, this day has held a special place in history – a day on which we pause to remember those around the world who had given their lives for peace. Hong Kong is no exception. 51 DBS old boys gave their lives in the Second World War – a sacrifice made so we are able to live in peace, freedom and prosperity.
“The strife is o’er, the battle done; Now is the Victor’s triumph won; O let the song of praise be sung. Alleluia!”
